Augustus Childres

Augustus Childres is a Cleveland, OH born actor and filmmaker local to New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Since beginning his career in 2022, Augustus has performed in over 10 theatrical productions and short films.  He has written and produced several films, currently on the festival circuit, with his company Laundrymen Productions, with more additional productions slated for release in 2024.

Augustus received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in Film from Colorado College in the summer of 2021, all the while studying acting and theatre.  He has additionally studied at programs such as T. Schreiber Studio, the American Academy of Arts, the New York Film Academy and the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre. Augustus is managed by Barbara Schulman of Oxford Talent Management and represented by Gerra Avery of The Avery Agency.

In addition to his theatre and film work, Augustus has many skills & interests including singing, piano & guitar playing, snowboarding, scuba diving, sea & river kayaking, backpacking, athletics and bartending.
